For July 2021, Charlie & Pam presented the 5 tasting wines with labels hidden, throwing down the challenge to the group to discern the cleanskins from their more expensive branded varietal equivalents.

The wine is a pale straw colour with subtle green edge highlights. The wine’s nose displays fresh and vibrant aromas of kaffir lime and lemon with subtle blossom and enticing floral nuances. The palate delivers intense citrus flavours of lemon and lime along with hints of orange blossom. The fruit presence continues with zesty lemon and lime characteristics which endure through the crisp, lingering finish.

Deep ruby colour with purple hues. Aromas of ripe raspberry, plum, blackberry, with hints of white flowers and lavender, complimented by savoury nuances of black pepper, bay leaf and charcuterie. The palate displays focused raspberry and dark plum fruits, with lively acidity and beautifully balanced fine, soft tannins providing texture, for a long, structured finish.
