Hints granite minerality glide through the mouth along with plums, blackberries, dark cherries and licorice.

It has a meaty edge with gamey highlights. Fine black tea tannins with a flovour of  blackberries and fine spices complete the persistent finish.

Wine 4

Andy WIlliams 4382 Terroir,  2021

Monteplulciano

Ballandean Qld

The colours are brilliant red/ruby/black in the deeper wells and gleaming purple mulberry hues at the meniscus.

The bouquet carries lifted wafts of dark plums, dark cherries, tar, spices and herbs.

The palate is quite smashable and slurpable, black plums are prominent but coalesced with ripe boysenberry, there is a slight sweetness evident but  savoury flavours and red cherries dominate.

Tannat

Ballandean Qld

This wine is a deep black colour in the glass spreading to a very deep inky purple at the edges. Some vanillin oak on the nose with lots of berry fruits followed by a little spice, tobacco and earth.

The palate is mouth filling with blackberries, mulberries, raspberries, sour cherries hints of vanilla, spice, ferrous and earthy/dusty tannins and a nice freshness to the acid.

The wine delivers long and finishes with a sour savouriness that harbours a small hint of sweetness in it’s depths.
